Obituary for Robert "Bobby" Harrington

Obituary: Robert “Bobby” Harrington
Dateline: Shapleigh, Maine

Robert “Bobby” Harrington, 85 years old, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2023. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Alexandria “Sandy” Harrington, his daughter Kathleen Harrington, sister Eileen Hoyt, and his grandson TJ Ramalho.

He is survived by his children Colleen (Sandi) Harrington, Kim Harrington (Terry) Ramalho, Debbie Harrington (John) Michelson, Patrick (Jenny) Harrington, and Suzanne (Bill) Epperly and his grandchildren Keli Ramalho, Jessica (Joe), John and Jake Michelson, Ryan, Keara and Connor Harrington, Elyse and Daniel (Charlotte) Epperly as well as his beloved sister Virginia O’Neill, his brother-in-law Walter Hoyt and his previous wife, Barbara Harrington Haviland and numerous nieces and nephews.

After graduating high school, Bob enlisted in the US Navy for four years. In his mid-20’s he joined the Stamford Police Department where he proudly served for 35 years as a Stamford Policer Officer and was a founding member of the Stamford Bomb Squad.

He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you paid attention. Bob was the “Go To” guy for many during his life, always ready to lend a hand. He will be missed terribly but there is comfort in knowing he will be reunited with those loved ones who have passed before him. Rest easy Dad. We love you and we will be okay.
