We are sad to announce the passing of Maureen Reilly Jariz of Lyman, Maine. She left this world suddenly on April 15, 2023 while at her home.
Maureen was born to Edward and Rita (Sullivan) Reilly on March 9, 1950, and grew up in Biddeford, Maine. Maureen worked as a secretary for Dr. Connor Moore for many years and then at the family bakery, Reilly’s in Biddeford. She enjoyed going to the beach, making crafts, being with her pets, rooting for the Patriots and spending time with her great-nieces and nephews, where she got the nickname “Momo.”
She is survived by her son, Ed Jariz and wife Amy of Jackson, NH; brother Michael Reilly and wife, Denise of Saco, Maine; sister Marlene Roy and husband Roger of Lyman, Maine; stepmother Barbara Reilly of Biddeford, Maine; many nieces and nephews; Ed’s father Jerry Jariz of Alfred, Maine and sister-in-law Nancy Smith and husband John.
Maureen is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Rita Reilly.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday April 27th from 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak Street, in Alfred, Maine. Followed by a private graveside ceremony with immediate family members.
