Committal Prayers and burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Mary M. Marine, 78, a loving and generous wife and mother, passed on June 10, 2022 at So. Maine Healthcare in Biddeford. Mary was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 17, 1943, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Collie) Daniels. For many years she was New Englander before moving to Iowa for 20 years, returning to her heritage and home in 1984 with her daughter, Dorothy. She wanted to be closer to family and enjoy her grandchildren! Mary was known as the “Crafty Lady” – as she made beautiful quilts, painted on slate, wood and glass and she and her husband George traveled together to many of the local fairs. They had made their home in Limerick. She was truly a remarkable woman who has cared for her son George, Jr. at their home in Dayton for the past six years. She possessed a servant’s heart as she provided comfort and encouragement to those she loved. Mary has entered into eternal peace and rest. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Dorothy M. Snyder of Abington, Massachusetts and son George, Jr. of Dayton, and her grandchildren. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 19 Dora Lane, in Limerick. Committal prayers and burial will be in Highland Annex Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak St., in Alfred.
