Obituary for Jeremy Matthew Furlong

Jeremy Matthew Furlong, 47, of Waterboro, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2022. He left behind his mother, Evelyn Belanger, two brothers, Jeff Furlong and Darrin Furlong, two children, Erin Furlong and Zachary Furlong, and a grandchild, Brendon Furlong. He also leaves a void in the lives of his second family, Harry and Brenda Murphy, Jason Murphy and his wife Lisa, Amanda Heal and his ex-spouse and good friend Heather Ferrari, as well as countless friends and dear coworkers.

Jeremy was a mix of everything wonderful one could hope to be in this life. Hilarious, altruistic, dedicated, disciplined, hardworking, considerate, quick witted, and dozens of other traits that don’t even begin to sum him up.

Jeremy spent his days fishing with his son and grandson, having well deserved drinks around the fire with those he loved after a hard day’s work, working on his truck, going to the movies with his daughter, and in general being available for anyone that needed him for anything. He had an incredible knack for remembering lines from movies and TV shows and would blurt one out at every opportunity. He loved playing cornhole and kicking butt with his partner, Jason. Above all else, his children and grandson were the center of his life and would never hesitate to show everyone the latest video or picture and boast about them with love and pride.

Jeremy was an incredible and loving dad, puppa, friend, partner, coworker, and person. He will be deeply and profoundly missed.
