October 6, 1932 - June 10, 2022 Service Date: A private graveside service will be held at Highland Grove Cemetery, in North Shapleigh . Donald Brown, 89, a longtime resident of Shapleigh, passed in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family on June 10, 2022. Donald was born in Springvale on October 6, 1932, the son of Everett P. and Mabel (Riley) Brown. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957. Donald retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1987 after 30 years of dedicated employment. He was a member of the NRA and the American Legion Post 123 in Kezar Falls. Survivors include his wife Sandra L. Brown; three stepdaughters, Melinda Stevens, Melissa Morse and Zalana Doe. He was predeceased by his brother Everett Brown of Springvale. A private graveside service will be held at Highland Grove Cemetery in North Shapleigh. The Bibber Memorial Chapel at Autumn Green is respectfully handling arrangements.
