Dateline: Acton, Maine

Diane Lee Desrochers (Dunnells), 74, of Acton, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following a 3-year battle with cancer.

Diane was born August 7, 1948, in Dover, NH, the daughter of Leopold J. and Claire Dagenais LeBlanc, and is a graduate of Dover High School, class of 1967.

She was employed with several local companies, most recently, as a commercial cleaner with ServPro.

Diane loved to shop, and greatly appreciated the convenience of QVC and the Home Shopping Channel. She enjoyed going out to eat and good food, especially a yummy taco salad or pier fries. Diane had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially her dog Dusty, who passed over the rainbow bridge last year, and Kit-Kat, the newest member of the family. She enjoyed weekends at the campground, in the RV, with her husband. Traveling was an adventure for Diane, and she was always ready for a road trip when someone else created the itinerary.

She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Gloria Houde.

Survivors include her husband, Richard “Dick” Desrochers of Acton, ME; her daughter, Joyce Dunnells and husband, Michael Staples; her siblings, Richard LeBlanc and wife Priscilla, Renee Wormell and her husband William, her brothers-in-law Norm Desrochers and wife Sandy, Eric Desrochers and wife Gina, sisters-in-law Denise Waterhouse and husband Dean, and Diane Desrochers and partner Rick Chenard.
