December 30, 1994 - June 11, 2022 Service Date: June 17, 2022 A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the Smith Family Cemetery, 341 Central Ave., in Limerick. Immediately following the service, you are invited to a celebration of his life at the Smith Farm. Please bring your stories and memories to share with Dalton's family. Dalton Smith (AKA D-Smitty) has passed away unexpectedly at his home in Limerick. He was an avid musician and loved to hunt, fish, or just take walks in the woods behind the house where he lived. He also loved playing pool and listening to music. Dalton had a great sense of humor and it showed through his social media posts, oftentimes resulting in “Facebook jail” (as he liked to call it). He was very creative in getting around his social media accounts. Dalton attended Alfred Elementary School and graduated from Massabesic High School in 2013. He tried his hands at various professions and had most recently worked at the Peppermill Restaurant in Limerick. He is survived by his father Kevin Smith, mother Tracey Smith and sister Rylie Smith, all of Alfred. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Pat and Irene Bemis of Sanford, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Phil and Sandra Smith of Limerick and will be laid to rest next to them at the Smith family cemetery in Limerick. Dalton was a genuinely good person with an old soul. He will be sadly missed by us all. Rest in Peace, Dalton. Arrangements have been in the care of Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak St., in Alfred.
