June 27, 1961 - June 20, 2022 Service Date: A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak St., in Alfred, followed by a celebration of life service at the Springvale Social Club, 22 Bridge St., in Springvale from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Craig William Brennan, 61 yrs., a resident of Acton, Maine died Sunday June 20, 2022, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough, Maine after a brief illness. Craig was born in Sanford, Maine on June 27,1961 a son of Robert William Brennan and Betty Ann Theriault and attend Sanford Schools. He was employed by Tilton Paving of North Berwick for several years then he moved to Shirley, Maine and worked at Hardwood Products in Gilford for many years. Craig then moved back to Acton, Maine and was working for Libby-Scott Paving of Berwick until his illness. Craig enjoyed fishing, hunting, and motorcycle rides. He especially loved to take his truck on dirt roads up in the county, where he saw 19 bears in one day! He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Robert W. Brennan. Craig is survived by his mother Betty A. Lavigne of Sanford; his siblings Jeff Brennan of Arundel, Molly Whitten of Parkman, Maine; Christine Gallant of Anson, Maine; Judy Violette of Ft, Myers, FLA and William Brennan of Kennebunk, ME; his ex-wife Cynthia Brennan, and son Jacob J. Hackett and wife Kristi and his granddaughter, Annabelle Hackett all of Ellsworth, ME; and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Bibber Memorial @ Autumn Green, 47 Oak Street, in Alfred, followed by a celebration of life service at Springvale Social Club, 22 Bridge St., in Springvale from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Memorial donation may be made in Craig’s memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Bangor St., Augusta, ME 04330. Arrangements are in the care of Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak St., in Alfred.
