Obituary for Bobbi Jean Przekopowski (Merrill)

Bobbi Jean Przekopowski, 55, beloved wife, mother, and mimi, passed at home, surrounded in love on November 5, 2022.

Bobbi Jean was born in Sanford on December 7, 1966, the daughter of Fred T. and Margaret (Marchand) Merrill.

She was a graduate of Massabesic High School and worked as retail supervisor for many years and was well respected by her colleagues.

Bobbi Jean shared 33 years of marriage with her soulmate and best friend, Michael Przekopowski. They raised and nurtured two children, Krystle and Nicholas. Her favorite thing was being Mimi to her grandchildren, Oliver and Natalie. Which she gave the nicknames “little man” and “ponytail girl.”

Bobbi Jean loved spending time at the beach and watching in wonder the rhythm of the changing tides. Spending time outside on a sunny day in her garden and watching the birds filled her with peace and joy. If she was not able to enjoy the outdoors, you could always find her curled up with a good book. She always had a cat by her side but loved all animals.

Many memories were made with treasured trips to Hawaii, Bermuda, Las Vegas, and New York. She was the consummate traveler bringing back unique gifts from her days sight-seeing and visiting the shops.

We will miss your unconditional love, joy, and sense of adventure and your laughter.

She is survived by her husband Michael Przekopowski, her daughter Krystle Barstow and husband Robert, her son Nicholas Przekopowski and two grandchildren Oliver and Natalie Barstow, and siblings Donna Wieland, Dinah Prout, Gary Shaw and Erik Shaw, many nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Bobbi Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 1 – 3 p.m., with a time of sharing remembrances at 2:30 p.m. at Bibber Memorial at Autumn Green, 47 Oak Street, in Alfred.
